Financially supported - Return to Social Work Practice Course.
If you are Children's Social Worker and have been out of practice for a period of time; whether because you decided to have a career break, or to try something new, but are now thinking of returning to Social Work, we have the perfect solution for you.
In conjunction with Surrey County Council and the CWDC we are offering you the chance to participate in a financially supported 20-day refresher course (including 5 days work based shadowing). The course is designed to refresh your knowledge and give you the confidence to return to work.
Attendees at the course will be entitled to receive:-
- £60 per day attendance fee.
- Up to £5 per day towards travel expenses.
- Up to £60 per day towards child care costs for two or more children.
- Guaranteed interview for selected roles (subject to meeting the essential minimum requirements).
The course will be run in Guildford between January and March 2010.
