Summary of Benefits
Chief Officers are able to receive benefits commensurate with their role. The benefits, summarised here, are given cash values in the table below. If further information is needed on any point (e.g. tax liability), please contact Mark Reading at Tribal on 020 7323 7190.
- Temporary accommodation: the provision of temporary accommodation at Force HQ for a period of up to six months without cost.
- Removal and relocation expenses: the reimbursement of removal and relocation expenses upto 40% of annual salary.
- Subscriptions: the payment of subscriptions to ACPO (but not CPOSA or memberships of other professional bodies).
- Medical screening: medical screening every two years.
- Health care subscriptions : the reimbursement of privately arranged health care subscriptions and costs up to an annual ceiling.
- Vehicles: a Vehicle Scheme that covers either an annual 'cash allowance option' or a 'provided car' option, (a vehicle provided as part of the Sussex Police fleet, that is serviced, maintained and taxed and available for private use at a standard cost per mile).
- Home Telephone: the rental of one home telephone line will be paid and business calls from home claimable.
- Valid Business Expenses: up to £500.
