Welcome letter

Dear Candidate

Thank you for your interest in joining GOSH in Haringey Children, Young People & Families Community Health Service/NHS Haringey PCT.

Haringey is a fascinating, richly diverse and challenging borough in which to work. We want to attract and retain the best possible practitioners in the field of Child Protection to help us deliver best practice to the children and families with whom we work.

Safeguarding children is our number one priority and your work with us will be key in leading and building the strongest possible system of Child Protection for children in Haringey. We have an Action Plan following our Joint Area Review which sets out a framework for a journey that will take 3 years for us, together with our Local Authority partners, to become outstanding. Everyone working with children across the borough has given a commitment to the actions and changes needed and there is a determination to make our ambition a reality and deliver excellent services for children.

We would like you to join us on this journey. In return for your commitment, professionalism and hard work we will provide you with a rewarding and satisfying work culture that truly values your input, skills and enthusiasm. We will ensure that you are offered regular opportunities for education, training and development and effective and regular supervision.

We really look forward to you application and welcoming you to Haringey.

Yours sincerely
